Reporters of the West

The youth documentary Reporters From the West, follows a group of children with colourful names like Shanerica, Kaylee, Ruengelo, Jarid, Richendel and Carlos, on their journey as TV reporters, to show how they live in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. They direct their microphone and camera on topics like the Passaat, a wind that always blows into the same direction, the language of their islands, Papiamento, and the artist Yubi Kirindongo, who recycles old cars and makes them into art.
