The Luxor Theater in Zutphen awards the Luxor Award to filmmaker Sherman De Jesus. After children’s film pioneer Henk van der Linden he is the second to receive the prize.
The jury for the Cindy Kersebornmedal for color in the media has awarded this award to filmmaker and visual artist Bibi Fadlalla.

On the 30th of June, The Photograph will be screened at the Dias Latinos festival. Dias Latinos is the largest Latin & Caribbean festival in the Netherlands. At 20:00 the film can be seen in the Theater De Lieve Vrouw in Amersfoort.
The Spectacular Absence of GOD will premiere on May 20, 2022 in Het Ketelhuis in Amsterdam.
Dande di Aruba by Cindy Kerseborn will premiere on December 27 in a fundraising performance in Aruba in The Movie San Nicolas. The Dutch premiere is on the first day of 2022 at 5 p.m on NPO2.
After selection as the premiere film at the Netherlands Film Festival and the nomination of the Dutch Film Critics, Amstel Film will release The Photograph in 28 cinemas in the country.
At the Imagine This Women’s Film Festival in Brooklyn NY, New Light – The Rijksmuseum and Slavery was named the best documentary.
The documentary Broken can be seen on Monday October 18 at 20.25 on NPO 2.
